New BMW X5 adds low-CO2 fleet appeal

Date: 14 June 2013   |   Author: Tristan Young

The new MW X5 will emit as little as 149g/km

BMW has revealed details of its new X5 due on sale in the UK in November this year, including CO2 figures that show the car will be a segment leader for efficiency.

For the first time BMW will offer the X5 in rear- as well as all-wheel drive. This allows the off-roader to have a CO2 entry point of just 149g/km for the 218hp sDrive25d model.

This car is also capable of 50.5mpg and is priced from £42,590 for the SE version.

Prices and CO2 figures rise to £63,920 and 242g/km for the slightly less fleet-friendly xDrive50i M-sport model.
