Date: 11 November 2013   |   Author:

The second-generation version of Nissan's runaway success Qashqai will launch in the UK on 1 February 2014, with emissions starting from under 100g/km.

The UK-built Qashqai was the car that established the crossover segment, and the new model is 49mm longer, as well as being lower,  wider and lighter, and is equipped with new levels of safety kit.

The headline engine is the 99g/km 110hp 1.5 diesel, though there will also be a 119g/km 130hp diesel and 115hp and 150hp petrol versions, plus front- or four-wheel drive options.
