The start point for the best source of fleet information

New SME-focused programme for Seat Leon

Date: 30 August 2013   |   Author:

Seat is launching a new scheme called Leon Connector, aimed at providing small businesses with long-term demo vehicles, as it seeks to build on the positive early reception to its new lower medium Leon.

"If you are a small business running 10 cars you wouldn't normally get a long-term demo," Seat UK boss Neil Williamson told BusinessCar. "We believe if they keep the car for two week, three weeks, two months, they will be bowled over by it, and we see real opportunity."

Seat's UK boss said the new three-door Leon is a particular target for the smaller business market, because buyers act more like retail users.

The firm is also looking for more growth in the corporate sector from its large seven-seat Alhambra PV, with Williamson admitting it is "a car we could do better with in fleet".
