Prius+ takes off with minicab firm

Toyota has struck a fleet deal to supply minicab firm Embarque with 22 Prius+ hybrid MPVs.
The company operates in London and at major airports and claims to be carbon neutral, hence its interest in the 96g/km Toyota. The company also operates in a number of other major cities, and has used hybrids by the Japanese firm before.
Greg Mendoza, MD of Embarque, said: "Once we identified the Toyota Prius+ as the ideal private hire vehicle. we had no hesitation in deciding that we would replace our entire fleet."
