Tusker bags fuel savings with eco driver training

Date: 22 May 2013   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

Leasing and salary sacrifice specialist Tusker has recorded a 12% drop in its employees' fuel consumption after it implemented an eco driver training scheme from the Energy Saving Trust.

CEO David Hosking was among the staff who participated in the EST's 50-minute programme, known as Smarter Driving.

He said: "Carbon footprints, energy efficiency and other green issues are talked about a lot in our industry, but it has been important for us to go beyond the norm in terms of training, and we are very pleased to have partnered with the Energy Saving Trust.

"It's about saving money for customers, but it's also about our responsibility as an industry to be advocates."
