Volvo offers DAB radio upgrade for £295

Date: 05 September 2013   |   Author: Tristan Young

Volvo is offering both new and existing customers a digital radio upgrade for £295 including fitting.

The DAB offer covers almost all Volvos built since 2002 and includes a discrete external aerial and an internal control unit that incorporates a USB connection.

The offer is also open to new car buyers as an aftermarket option for the 75% of Volvos not offered with a DAB radio.

With the Government committed to switching from analogue to digital radio, RV experts have warned that cars without a DAB radio could be at a significant disadvantage in future.

A Volvo spokesman added: "The Government has committed to making an in-principle decision on a radio switchover by the end of this year and Volvo customers can get ahead of the game and enjoy peace of mind that their digital adapter will be professionally installed at their local dealership."
