The start point for the best source of fleet information

Bridle acquires Industrial Vehicle Leasing

Date: 08 August 2014   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Bridle Vehicle Leasing last week acquired Hampshire-based Industrial Leasing its second acquisition this year following the purchase of Compass Contract Hire in May, taking their fleet to over 4500 vehicles.

The deal was completed last Tuesday, and will see IVL's 1000 vehicles - 800 cars and 200 vans - being added onto Bridle's fleet. A company spokesman told BusinessCar that IVL has significant management in the fleet market, something that Bridle wanted to tie up with its fleet insurance plan, replicate and offer to its clients.

IVL directors John Crombie and Stewart Donald will remain, and Bridle is currently in what the spokesman described as "deep discussions" with other companies regarding future acquisitions.

"The addition of IVL to Bridle's portfolio goes to further reinforce our commitment to this division of our clients a one-stop facility for their vehicles needs," explained Stewart Donald, managing director of Bridle

"We are thrilled to become part of the Bridle group and by combining resources we can see our businesses becoming market leaders in the provision of fleet management and contract hire" said John Crombie, director at IVL.
