Mitsubishi has revealed its Outlander GX3h 4Work, a light commercial version of the BusinessCar Techie-winning Outlander PHEV. It is on sale now.

Costing from £23,373 including the Government's 20% plug-in van grant. According to Mitsubishi the commercial variant of the Outlander can travel up to 32.5 miles on electric power alone emits 44g/km of CO2 and an official claimed figure of 148mpg.

The Outlander GX3h 4Work's load volume is 1.3m3.

It is also exempt from the London Congestion Charge, and benefits from 100% first year capital allowance, which means the car's cost can be set against one year's trading profit.

"The Outlander Gx3h 4Work represents a significant cost reduction for companies running fleets of vans and independent businesses that need a reliable all conditions, all weather work-horse," said Mike Thomas, general manager of product planning for Mitsubishi UK.
