Four-wheel drive Seat Leon ST launched

Date: 08 July 2014   |   Author: John Mahoney

Seat has revealed a four-wheel drive version of the Leon ST, which features off-road-style cladding along the lines of Audi's Allroad models.

Called X-perience, the car comes with Seat's 2.0-litre TDI diesel in either 150hp or 184hp guise.

The Seat's raised ride height, four-wheel drive's electronic differential locks, and revised electronic stability control should help drivers avoid getting stuck.

Best for business is the 150hp diesel that averages 57.6mpg and emits 126g/km. The more powerful 184hp 2.0-litre TDI, meanwhile, averages 55.4mpg while emitting 133g/km.

Expect X-perience prices to start from around £25,000 when it arrives in October.
