Managing director Aldred leaves Vauxhall

Duncan Aldred, Vauxhall's chairman and MD, is to leave the UK arm of the company and take up a new role at parent firm General Motors in the US.

Effective from 1 March, Aldred will become vice-president for Buick-GMC sales, service and marketing and will be based in Detroit.
