The start point for the best source of fleet information

Marshall Leasing partners with In-Car Cleverness

Date: 16 January 2014   |   Author: Will Stretton

Marshall Leasing has partnered with vehicle-to-business technology provider In-Car Cleverness to provide a telematics package to its customer base.

The new telematics package offered by the leasing firm allows for location-based 'Nearest Fuel' and 'Local Parking' services for drivers, with ICC having performed similar work for data analysts Mileage Capture before. In-Car Cleverness also recently launched a multi-feature smartphone app for drivers and a leasing option to eliminate up-front capital expenditure for businesses running fleets of up 250 vehicles.

Jonathan Ross, Marshall Leasing sales and marketing director, said: "Every business is different and we needed technology that not only allowed us to respond to those differing needs, but also provided a suite of services to help our customers manage their priorities - be that driver behaviour, improving fuel efficiency, lowering insurance costs or HMRC compliance."

"In-Car Cleverness are part of the Accident Exchange Group with whom we have an existing relationship." Ross also told BusinessCar. "What impressed us about ICC was that it had been developed to meet Accident Exchanges own needs as a major provider in the car hire market."

"We are now in an era of vehicle relationship management, in which technology and big data play a significant role in improving the bottom line of any business running a fleet of vehicles," said Tim Eaves, commercial director for In-Car Cleverness. "We know first-hand that businesses are looking for answers."
