New bosses for Vauxhall and Peugeot

Date: 26 February 2014   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

Vauxhall and Peugeot have appointed new bosses for their UK businesses. Vauxhall has named Tim Tozer as chairman and MD of its UK operations and CEO of Opel Ireland after the departure of Duncan Aldred, who takes up a new role at parent firm GM in the US.

Tozer joins from Autobinck Holding NV in The Hague. His former roles include CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Europe and MD of Mazda UK.

Peugeot's new MD is Stéphane Le Guevel, who takes the helm from April.

He is currently deputy MD of Dongfeng Peugeot and has previously held senior roles at the firm in Belgium, Russia and Poland.

Le Guevel succeeds Tim Zimmerman, who is understood to be leaving Peugeot UK.
