New car lease comparison site goes live

A new lease-rate comparison website has launched called Comparemyfleet.com.
Operating in a similar way to price comparison sites in other industries, Comparemyfleet claims to have already forged links with a plethora of the UK's leading contract hire and leasing companies including Alphabet, Days Contract Hire, GE Capital Fleet Services, Inchcape Fleet Solutions, Lex Autolease and Volkswagen Financial Services.
However, unlike other online price comparison services, Comparemyfleet takes 24 hours to produce a report with quotes on lease rates for the chosen vehicle.
CompareMyFleet.com co-founder Neil Birkbeck, said: "Trawling the marketplace to obtain quotes from a number of contract hire and leasing companies is a hugely time-consuming business.
"Not only that, but it is an extremely complicated and complex market to tackle in terms of selecting the right vehicle and the right services at the right price, while also taking into account discounts and rebates available.
"I know because I have sourced company cars and vans in my procurement role at previous employers and have found what should be a straightforward task can prove to be a major headache for the unwary."
