The start point for the best source of fleet information

Plug-and-play tech from Tracker

Date: 08 August 2014   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Vehicle tracking firm Tracker has introduced a removable device that can be switched between cars.
Firms with lone workers, grey fleet vehicles or with cases requiring one-off monitoring can move the Tracker Vision Sprint without assistance. The product, developed with satnav provider Garmin, combines navigation with fleet tracking, job allocation reporting and driver communication.

Tracker introduced the fixed version of Tracker Vision earlier in February this year, but David Wilson, the firm's sales and services director, said certain stakeholders had been asking for an exchangeable product.
He added: "By offering a plug-and-play satnav device that incorporates fleet tracking, units can be transferred quickly between vehicles, adding flexibility to telematics."
