Toyota to show hybrid crossover concept at Paris

Date: 22 September 2014   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Toyota will showcase a new concept car at next month's Paris motor show. Dubbed C-HR, the Japanese car maker says it will "reveal the company's innovative vision for a compact crossover model."

It is understood that the concept could hint at a forthcoming crossover in the C-segment. If this is the case, it could carry Auris Cross moniker, would sit below the RAV4 in the company's range and would go on sale from 2017. The concept is powered by a hybrid powertrain.

Toyota will also host the first European appearance of the finalised exterior design of its Fuel Cell vehicle which is due to be launched in Europe next year.
