Volvo adds new 190hp 99g/km D4 to V40

Volvo has introduced a new high-power, low-emissions version of the lower medium V40.
The D4 model generates 190hp but is efficient enough to produce 99g/km and an official 74.3mpg in manual guise.
It can also be had in the jacked-up V40 Cross Country, with 104g/km and 70.6mpg. A new eight-speed automatic gearbox is available too.
The firm has also added a new 245hp T5 high-performance petrol engine, which comes with the new eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard and generates 47.9mpg and 137g/km.
