The start point for the best source of fleet information |
ACFO is dedicating its first seminar of 2015 to operating expenditure in an attempt to ensure organisations don't miscalculate costs.
Held on 8 May at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, the event will cover a number of issues including fleet funding options, calculating car and light commercial vehicle whole life costs, fuel management and tax accounting.
Members attending the meeting will be able to test various Jaguar and Land Rover models including the new XE in both 163hp and 180hp levels and the Discovery Sport.
During the seminar question and answer sessions are planned with a panel. Speakers during the day will include:
"The parameters in respect of vehicle selection have changed enormously in recent years. No longer may one vehicle fuel type or one funding method suit fleets," said John Pryor, ACFO chairman.
"Historically, fleets perhaps only had to consider whether they ran petrol or diesel vehicles and whether they were funding via a contract hire arrangement or outright purchased. Today there are so many issues to consider that can have a huge impact on an organisation's tax burden and cash flow," said Pryor.
