The start point for the best source of fleet information

Alphabet long-term rental arm secures Eaglecliff deal

Date: 10 November 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Alphabet has signed a new deal with recruitment and payroll agency Eaglecliff Corporate Resourcing Solutions to provide the firm with a mobility service for a nine month-long project.

The project is set to last for nine months - far shorter than the typical three-year contract - so Alphabet have supplied vehicles through its longer-tem rental arm, AlphaRent+.

The fleet is owned and managed by Alphabet, but allows longer-term rental bookings to be made without requiring drivers to change vehicles on a frequent basis, like a short-term rental offering.

Currently, the firm has taken on 10 Alphabet vehicles for the nine-month period. Its fleet consists of a mix of BMW 1 and 3-series models, as well as Minis.

"The solution suggested by Alphabet was not much more than daily rental from a cost perspective, but the gains in productivity, reduction in administration burden and overall better experience for our drivers were considerable factors in our choice," said Tom Coleman, recruitment consultant at Eaglecliff.

"We needed a flexible solution to meet our specific needs for this project which was longer than a daily rental solution could effectively address but too short for a contract hire agreement," he added.
