BMW is now offering satellite navigation as standard across its entire range of models, following the introduction of its facelifted 1 series.

The entry model into the BMW brand comes as standard with satnav on all trim levels from September production onwards.

Entry-level BMW models will be fitted with a 6.5-inch colour display with the iDrive operating system and the DAB radio. 3D mapping and Eco Pro green route guidance is part of the standard satnav package.

The facelifted 1 series also brings new four-cylinder diesel engines with it. The 116d EfficientDynamics Plus model has a CO2 output of 89g/km and official fuel efficiency figures of 83.1mpg.

Prices for the 1 series facelift start at £20,775 and rise to £31,200.
