FleetEurope to tackle high LCV demand over Christmas period

Fleet management company FleetEurope is looking to ensure that businesses are able to hire light commercial vehicles over the festive period.
In the run-up to Christmas, increased consumer spending, online retail and events such as Black Friday place increased pressure on delivery and logistics companies, which then have to rent additional vans during the period to cover the extra demand.
FleetEurope has introduced a policy that will allow new and existing customers to access vehicles from their rental partners through a single card, meaning that customers are given a favourable rate.
Where vehicles are unavailable, alternative suppliers are contacted or vehicles can be moved from one location to another to meet demand.
"We are in the busiest time of the year on the high street and our roads," said Carlos Montero, FleetEurope's commercial director.
"Demand is high and we are here to help those who need a vehicle during this time to keep their businesses running and keep up with demand," he added.
