Google's self-driving car pulled over for travelling too slowly

One of Google autonomous car was pulled over by police in America for driving too far under the speed limit.
The car was travelling at 24mph in a 35mph zone in Mountain View, California.
"Bet humans don't get pulled over for that too often," the technology giant joked in a blog post.
The local police report described the vehicle as being "over-cautious". In a blog post, Mountain View's police force said an officer noticed traffic backing up behind a slow-moving vehicle.
"As the officer approached the slow-moving car he realised it was a Google Autonomous Vehicle," the department said in its post.
"The officer stopped the car and made contact with the operators to learn more about how the car was choosing speeds along certain roadways and to educate the operators about impeding traffic," it added.
Google's self-driving vehicles can only be operated on roads with speed limits at 35mph or under.
"We've capped the speed of our prototype vehicles at 25mph for safety reasons. We want them to feel friendly and approachable, rather than zooming scarily through neighbourhood streets," Google said in its blog post about the incident.
It added that in 1.2 million miles of automated driving, its cars have never been given tickets by the police.
