Hyundai's coupe version of its new i20 will be priced from £12,725 when it goes on sale in the UK on 26 March.

The entry-level SE models will feature 16-inch alloy wheels; Bluetoothconnectivity; cruise control with speed limiter; rear parking sensors; and rear spoiler.

The i20 Coupe Sport is priced from £13,725 and customers get 17-inch alloy wheels; automatic lights; auto dimming review mirror; climate control with auto defog; and privacy glass.

The range-topping Sport Nav model adds integrated satellite navigation with seven-inch touch screen, rear view camera and DAB radio for £14,400.

New generation i20 Coupe customers have a choice of two engines; a 1.2-litre petrol with an output of 84hp and a 1.4-litre diesel engine delivering up to 90hp.

The petrol is mated to a five-speed manual transmission, while the diesel comes with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard.

Tony Whitehorn, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor UK, said: "The addition of the i20 Coupe means that the i20 range now has a sportier edge, boosting its appeal to younger audiences.

"It offers a bold exterior design, comfortable and spacious interior and generous standard equipment - which will appeal to a broader audience in the segment."

Hyundai has also added two new trim levels to the standard i20 range with Premium Nav and Premium SE NAV, both of which feature an integrated satellite navigation with seven-inch touchscreen, DAB radio and rear view camera.

Premium Nav, based on the Premium derivative, is available from £14,400, while Premium SE Nav is available from £15,400.
