Leaseplan appoints three new directors as its fleet expands

Date: 13 May 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Leaseplan's UK division has announced three new appointments in response to continuing growth. The leasing company said it has seen strong performances within the commercial vehicle sector and increased business within its leasing and  network brands.

Leaseplan has four arms - Automotive Leasing (public sector), Leaseplan Go (SME), large corporations and Network (franchisees).

Chris Tubbs has moved from the head of risk to brand director within the company's network arm. He joined Leaseplan in 1996 and managed the remarketing and technical services arms.

Ranjit Dosanjh has joined Leaseplan as its director of new business for Leaseplan UK. She has experience within the public and private sectors from roles within G4S, Thales and Tribal.

Hein du Plessis has re-joined the business as the head of new product development. He left Leaseplan in 2011 to work as head of fleet solutions for Eqstra Fleet in South Africa.

"We've seen strong growth in the first part of 2015 and these appointments are a statement of intent with regard to continuing this positive progress," said Matt Dyer, managing director of Leaseplan UK. "Reaching 140,000 funded vehicles in its fleet for the first time ever is a great achievement and to see all our brands grow is an extremely positive sign."
