Lex expands vehicle supply deal with Stagecoach

Date: 02 June 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Lex Autolease will supply transport group Stagecoach with its company cars for a further three years after agreeing a sole-supply contract extension.

Lex has been supplying vehicles to Stagecoach on a contract-hire basis since 2005. The new contract will also see the company use vehicles with improved CO2 emissions as part of a wider aim to reduce carbon emissions within the business.

Stagecoach's fleet of company cars includes the Lexus CT, Volvo V60 and Toyota Prius.

Lex will also provide its accident management services, while Stagecoach will receive free courtesy cars for the duration of repairs.

"Sustainability is at the heart of our business. We are working hard to reduce the impact of our buses and coaches on the environment and it is just as important that our other company vehicles help deliver carbon savings too. The hybrid vehicles available through Lex Autolease will help us further reduce our carbon footprint as a business," said Sam Greer, Stagecoach UK regional director.
