The start point for the best source of fleet information

Licence Check launches fleet management tool

Date: 17 September 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Licence monitoring company Licence Check has launched its own fleet management service.

Known as Davis, the fleet management system allows customers to mix and match components to suit their company's requirements, which can be expanded when required.

From launch, the system is being targeted towards grey fleet users, as it includes an autofill facility, which populates vehicle details, using data from the DLVA and the SMMT, such as MoT and vehicle tax data.

A licence-checking module is pre-installed, and further services - including telematics, foreign licence document recognition and expenses logging - will be launched within the next couple of months, while services including replacement vehicle hire and driver assessments will be launched in 2016.

"Offering powerful reporting facilities to managers, Davis uses technology to meet fleet requirements in the most efficient and cost-effective way, which is different to many existing products which rely on extensive manual intervention to manage services and provide reports," said Licence Check managing director Richard Brown.

Brown added: "Being able to mix and match modules to suit individual companies is a real bonus, and we're confident that this feature, and its many other benefits, make it an ideal solution for all-vehicle and grey fleets."
