Fleets extending the length of their contracts may provide a positive impact on residual values, the National Association of Motor Auctions has predicted.
According to the auction body's Corporate Vehicle Observatory, there is an expectation that fleets are running vehicles for longer than in the past.
"The fact that the span of age/mileage becoming available is likely to have a cushioning impact residual values. Overall, we see this as a positive development," NAMA's Louise Wallis said.
