Marmalade awards telematics contract to Trakm8

BusinessCar Awards-winning fleet software provider Trakm8 has been awarded a contract with young driver insurance firm Marmalade.
Marmalade will be provided with the firm's telematics data service and hardware. The contract - valued at £1 million - will support Marmalade's New Driver insurance programme, a telematics-based insurance scheme for young drivers aged between 17 and 25.
"To have another insurance company selecting Trakm8 as a telematics partner is a validation of our insurance solution offering, and reflects the extensive research and development programme Trakm8 has undertaken to be the best partner in the industry," said John Watkins, executive chairman of Trakm8.
