Mercedes C-class coupe to cost from £30,955

Mercedes-Benz has confirmed its C-class coupe will be priced from £30,955, with first deliveries starting in December.

From launch, five engine options and two model lines will be available,

Petrol-wise, the range starts with the C200. It produces 184hp and emits 123g/km of CO2, while the more powerful C300 unit produces 245hp and emits 148g/km of CO2.

An AMG option is also offered, powered by the firm's 4.0-litre V8 engine, badged C63 or C63 S depending on the power output - 476hp and 510hp respectively.

The diesel options consist of the C220d (170hp, 106g/km of CO2) and the more powerful C250d, which produces 204hp and emits 109g/km of CO2.

The two model lines are available: Sport and AMG line. Standard equipment includes LED headlights and tail-lights, Mercedes' active park assist feature, parking sensors, a reversing camera,  a 7-inch colour screen Garmin navigation unit, electrically folding mirrors and the Collision Prevention Assist Plus automatic braking system.

The Sport trim level comes with a gloss black interior trim with aluminium inlays in the doors, 17-inch alloy wheels and a diamond grille with black-painted pins.

Meanwhile, the AMG line option includes black ash wood trim, an AMG sports steering wheel with flat bottom, brushed steel sports pedals and a black roof lining with the exterior featuring an AMG bodystyling kit, 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, a diamond grille with chrome pins and 15mm lowered sports suspension.
