Mercedes is renaming the Traveliner model as the Tourer to bring the Citan's nomenclature in line with the Vito.

All Tourer models now come with the firm's Blueefficiency package as standard. This includes start/stop, which improves fuel consumption to 65.7mpg, up from 61.4mpg, according to the manufacturer.

Long wheelbase Tourer models can now be specced with a panoramic roof, while a new navigation unit is offered as standard.

Mercedes said the unit, which is displayed on a 3.5-inch touchscreen has been developed for the Citan, while a reversing camera is now an optional extra and panel and crew vans can be fitted with an optional anti-theft alarm system.
