Mitsubishi unveils facelifted ASX

Date: 16 July 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Mitsubishi has dropped emissions for its ASX crossover down to 119g/km with the addition of a new 1.6-litre diesel engine, and has renamed the trim levels  as part of a facelift. It is on sale now, priced from £15,249.

The ASX crossover retains two engines from the outgoing model - the 115hp 1.6-litre petrol and the existing 2.2-litre diesel engines alongside a new 112hp 1.6-litre diesel, which emits 119g/km of CO2.

Three trim levels are offered - ZC, ZC-M and ZC-H. All models have alloy wheels, air conditioning and keyless entry as standard, while ZC-M models add two-tone 18-inch wheels, parking sensors, cruise control and Xenon headlights.

The range-topping ZC-H model ix equipped with leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof and the Mitsubishi's infotainment system, which features a seven-inch touchscreen, sat-nav, DAB radio and a reversing camera.

Visually, the ASX is largely unchanged from the outgoing model apart from different wheel arches on the mid and high-spec models.
