Motiva Group aims to double fleet size by 2017

Date: 13 January 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Contract hire and rental business Motiva Group has announced plans to double the size of its business within three years off the back of record results for the firm in 2014.

The firm said its end-of-year figures revealed operational profit jumped by more than 50%.

The firm's managing director Peter Davenport is looking to more than double Motiva's fleet size by 2017 to more than 12,000.

The firm said its operating profit for 2014 was £1.6million with turnover at £42m. The fleet size grew by 22% on 2013 to 5700 vehicles.

"2014 was a tremendous year for the company with record performance leading to figures well beyond even our most optimistic targets. But we don't want to stop here and have put plans in place for even more spectacular growth in the next 12 months and beyond," said Davenport.
