New ALD offices takes shape

Date: 04 December 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

ALD has started construction of its new offices, which are expected to cost the leasing company £12m.

The new offices will measure 36,000 sq ft, when complete with the firm moving into the Emersons Green, near Bristol, facility next year.

The development will enable ALD Automotive staff to move from their existing headquarters in Fishponds, Bristol, to the larger, new premises, which will provide space for further recruitment and planned expansion.

"We moved to our current location in 1995 when we had less than 100 staff and, since then, we have grown significantly and now have almost 400 employees," said Mel Dawson, managing director of the company.

"Looking after the needs of blue-chip PLCs, SMEs and private individuals - and being part of an international group that manages over one million vehicles in 40 countries - it's important that our new office environment not only reflects the size of the business we now are and allows us to continue our planned expansion, but helps us to operate more effectively in meeting the needs of our customers."
