Date: 17 September 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

The Institute of Car Fleet Management has appointed fleet figure Nigel Trotman to its board.

Trotman has been involved in the fleet industry since 1993. For 15 years, he operated and developed  hospiltialty firm Whitbread's fleet, winning a Fleet Hero award from the Energy Savings Trust.

More recently, in 2008 he joined TSB Autolease as a consultant, where he managed a fleet of 8000 vehicles. He then joined Alphabet as a strategic fleet consultant before retiring earlier this year.

"His election strengthens the ICFM board still further and Nigel's widespread experience will undoubtedly assist us in broadening our appeal to potential members seeking to develop their own careers and build their professional skills in vehicle fleet management," said ICFM chairman, Paul Hollick.
