Peugeot confirms Partner van pricing

Date: 05 June 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Peugeot has confirmed diesel versions of its Partner van will be priced from £13,215 to £15,930 excluding VAT when it goes on sale later this month.

The entry-level model is powered by a 75hp 1.6-litre diesel engine, which emits 131g/km of CO2. Its payload is 625kg, while its load space is 3.3m3.

The most efficient diesel vehicle in the range is the 100hp 1.6-litre Blue HDi diesel equipped with stop/start technology. It has official fuel economy of 68.9mpg and emits 108g/km of CO2 and is priced from £15,165 excluding VAT.

Peugeot is also offering an electric version of the van. It is priced from £21,300 excluding VAT and the Government's 20% plug-in van subsidy.

Styling changes include a new front grille that's similar to the rest of the Peugeot line-up, while new reinforced protection has been applied to the bumper surface, which the French manufacturer said gives greater robustness to the front end.

Peugeot claimed the van undertook five million miles of testing, including hot and cold-weather testing.

The Partner was the biggest selling light van in the UK last year, shifting 16,636 units with a massive increase in volume of 46.4%.

The growth from that model and the recently facelifted Boxer helped Peugeot to increase its position in UK van sales last year to fourth place overall, pushing Mercedes-Benz and Citroen down the sales table. Peugeot sold 31,867 vans in 2014, 50.1% up on 2013.
