Van leasing company Vanarama has moved into the car sector.
Known as Vanarama Cars, the new car leasing website will allow users to lease a car in the same way that they lease a mobile phone. The company said its move into the car leasing market was borne out of high demand for business car leasing.
According to Finance and Leasing Association data, new cars financed through its members increased by 75.8% in the first nine months of 2015 compared with the same period in 2014.
"We will capitalise on our extensive knowledge of the motor trade and existing industry leading customer service and sales channels, to extend our offer to cars for new and existing customers across the UK," said Andy Alderton, managing director of Vanarama.
