Vauxhall reveals new Corsavan

Date: 16 January 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Vauxhall has officially revealed pictures and details of its new Corsavan, as revealed by BusinessCar before Christmas.

The new Corsavan is on sale next month, and will make its UK debut at the CV Show in April - which recently opened its visitor registration website.

Petrol-wise, a 1.2-litre 70hp petrol engine powers the base-spec Corsavan. It emits 128g/CO2, returns 51.5mpg and costs from £11,858.

There are two power options for the 1.3-litre diesel model - 75hp, which emits 102g/km CO2, returns 72.4mpg and costs from £13,108. The other oil-burner is a 95hp model which emits 90g/km CO2, returns 83.1 mpg and costs from £13,558.

Vauxhall said the Corsavan features a class-leading payload of 571kg, up 21kg on the outgoing model, and a flat loading capacity of 920 litres.

The British car and van maker said the interior is vastly improved compared to the pervious model, thanks to seats that provide more support, while a technical pack offers the firm's latest safety offerings such as forward collision alert, lane departure warning and a traffic sign recognition tool.

The Corsavan will hold massive appeal to van drivers, small businesses, fleet decision-makers and company drivers alike," said Steve Bryant, Vauxhall's head of commercial vehicles.
