Volkswagen tweaks contract hire team for 2015

Volkswagen has made changes to its contract hire team for 2015. It has appointed David Redpath as its contract hire manager for the south of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Redpath will transfer from his current role as a Volkswagen area fleet manager. He has been with VW for three years, has previously worked at Toyota and Hertz Lease and was the fleet manager for the Trinity Mirror Group.
He will work alongside the current contract hire and leasing manager Peter Gallier, who is responsible for the north of England.
The German car and van maker also announced its current contract hire manager Lee Rabjohn's responsibilities have been widened to cover the public sector and fleet aftersales teams.
"David's new responsibilities will see him strengthening our relationships with leasing companies. These relationships are key to us achieving our strategic goals and sales ambitions over the coming years," said Michael O'Shea, Volkswagen UK head of fleet.
