Voting open for What Van? Readers' Award

Date: 09 September 2015   |   Author: James Dallas

Voting has now opened for BusinessCar's sister magazine, What Van?'s, Reader Award, which, following its introduction last year, will join the pantheon of What Van? Awards 2016 that are taking place in conjunction with a new partner: fuel card giant Allstar.

The Reader Award will once more recognise the vital contribution vehicle converters make to the light commercial vehicle industry.

We're asking readers to select the best vehicle body-builder or supplier in the marketplace from a 25-strong shortlist brought together by our expert panel.

The important role the conversion sector plays in the LCV arena has often been overlooked so we were proud to raise its profile at the 2015 ceremony.

There's a good reason to have your say because we're offering two lucky winners of a random draw the chance to attend the What Van? Awards at a prestigious venue in London on 15 December, while 10 runners-up will receive a £20 gift voucher from one of M&S, iTunes, Next or Amazon.

Last year, Tevo, the manufacturer of high-strength, lightweight racking and shelving systems, scooped the Readers' Award, and boss Paul Railston highlighted its significance when he said: "The voters were the people who have experience of Tevo."

Speaking of the 2016 What Van? Awards, Pete Bridgen, managing director of new partner Allstar, said: "This joining together of two market-leading, respected and well-known brands gives us the chance to help support and recognise the best products and services in the UK light commercial arena."
