VW appoints two new area fleet managers

Date: 14 May 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Volkswagen has recruited two new customer-facing area fleet managers in an attempt to develop the brand's presence in what VW calls "key markets".

Matthew Mulkerrins has joined the company as area fleet manager for the south east of England. He is joining Volkswagen from Toyota and Lexus where he worked in both corporate and retail sales roles.

Richard Manterfield has also joined the company as its area fleet manager for the north east of England. He previously worked at Toyota and Nissan in corporate sales roles.

"We believe high quality people are as important as high quality products, and building strong, successful relationships with customers is key to us achieving the goals we have set for the next five years," said Michael O'Shea, Volkswagen's head of fleet.
