Date: 05 August 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has confirmed its fourth-generation Caddy Kombi is available to order now ahead of first deliveries in September. It is priced from £17,510 for the entry-level model.

The Kombi is a Caddy with five seats and glazed windows. The base-spec model is powered by a 2.0-litre 102hp diesel engine, which emits 114g/km of CO2 and returns 65.7mpg.

A more powerful 150hp option is also available, priced from £18,235. It emits 134g/km of CO2 and returns 55.4mpg.

All models include the firm's infotainment system with DAB radio, Bluetooth, heated windscreen, post-collision braking system and daytime running lights as standard.

The vehicles are also equipped with efficiency measures including low-rolling resistance tyres, regenerative braking and stop/start systems as standard.

VW also confirmed prices for other Caddy variants, including the seven-seat Cady Life passenger version (from £15,600), the longer Maxi Life version (from £17,985) and the Maxi Window Van, a five-seat version of the Caddy with glazing rather than van panels (from £17.185).

The Caddy panel van is priced from £13,500.
