The start point for the best source of fleet information

Addison Lee partners with Ubeeqo mobility app

Date: 14 June 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Ubeeqo has partnered with Addison Lee, meaning that users of the app are now able to book minicabs through the mobility program.

The London-based app - owned by rental company Europcar - allows users in the capital city to book and pay for rental vehicles, minicabs and car-sharing vehicles through a single app which is free to download.

"Addison Lee's focus on customer care and the environment fits with Ubeeqo's commitment to making mobility easier, more affordable and greener," said Benoit Chatelier, founder and CEO of Ubeeqo. "This partnership sees us deliver even more transport options for Londoners, making city travel more convenient and flexible than ever."

Europcar became a majority stakeholder in the business app in 2015, as part of the rental company's strategy to extend its mobility offering in response to its customers' challenges.

Meanwhile, Addison Lee claims it operates the second-largest privately-owned fleet in the UK, after BT, and offers an average pick-up time of three to four minutes.

"Addison Lee helps more than 10 million Londoners travel around the capital every year. The Ubeeqo mobility app will ensure our customers have even more options to book, pay and travel more conveniently in the future," said Peter Boucher, chief commercial officer at Addison Lee.
