Date and venue announced for 2017 What Van? Awards

Date: 07 September 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

BusinessCar's sister title, What Van? is pleased to announce its annual awards will once again take place at The Brewery in London this December.

The What Van? Awards are renowned as the most prized independent endorsements of excellence in the light commercial vehicle industry and this year the title will recognise outstanding performers in 16 crucial sectors of the market as well as revealing the recipient of the coveted What Van? 2017 LCV of the Year on 13 December.

Last year's awards celebrations were held at the top London venue and we're aiming to be bigger and better this year, with 150-200 guests expected to attend the prestigious lunchtime ceremony.

The What Van? Awards are decided by What Van? magazine's panel of editorial experts, and calls on their combined decades of experience in the light commercial vehicle industry.

The awards seek to reward the best products, companies and services in the industry for their ability to make life easier, cleaner, safer and more efficient for LCV operators in the UK.

Last year, the Mitsubishi L200 pick-up scooped the top award, being named as the 2016 Light Commercial Vehicle of the Year, while the Ford Transit Courier picked up the Small Van of the Year gong.

The Fiat Doblo Cargo, meanwhile, won the Light Van of the Year, and the Iveco Daily took the Large Van of the Year accolade.
