Enterprise Car Club expands Birmingham sharing

Date: 12 October 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Enterprise Car Club has expanded its car-sharing scheme in Birmingham in an attempt to offer more mobility on demand to businesses and residents.

The company has more than doubled the number of hourly rental vehicles in the city, from six to 15, with the new cars being stationed around the city.

Two of the new vehicles are being stationed near the University of Birmingham, while a further three will be based at Birmingham city centre branches of Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

"Accessing services like car hire where and when we need it is an increasingly important part of all our lives. Car club vehicles are fast becoming a must-have for urban dwellers, particularly in areas where parking is a challenge," said Keith Kelly, business development sales manager at Enterprise Car Club.

"Access to a 'virtual car' means business and residents no longer have to worry if they don't have a vehicle when they need one. We see this expansion plan as an important step in delivering car club services across the city and, wherever possible, integrated with local transport hubs and services."
