Facelifted Mokka introduces new Vauxhall X branding

Vauxhall is to introduce a new 'X' designation to its crossover and SUV models, starting with the facelifted Mokka, which will arrive in the UK around October.

The new Mokka X gets revised styling and an interior refresh, as well as a new 152hp 1.4-litre petrol engine fitted with adaptive four-wheel drive.

The Apple CarPlay system will be available on the Mokka X for the first time, as well as the Android Auto development. Both project various phone functions onto the car's touchscreen.

From a styling point of view, Vauxhall's small crossover, which broke into the top 10 fleet registrations in 2015, gets a new nose including what the company calls a wing-shaped front grille and LED daytime running lights.
