Facelifted Toyota GT86 revealed

Date: 17 March 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Toyota has revealed its facelifted GT86 sportscar ahead of its debut at the New York motor show next week. The model will go on sale towards the end of the year.

Mechanically, the car is unchanged, meaning the GT86 retains its 200hp 2.0-litre petrol engine, which emits 180g/km of CO2 and returns 36.2 mpg, placing it in the 33% BIK bracket.

Visual differences include an enlarged central air intake, a restyled front bumper, LED headlights and a new alloy wheel design.

Pricing and specification details will be confirmed closer to the on-sale date.
