Kia has teased images of an upcoming compact hybrid 4x4 ahead of its reveal next month and it arriving in the UK by the end of the year.
The Korean manufacturer said the model, known as the Niro, is based on the company's new 'eco-car' platform, and promises a sub-90g/km CO2 emissions rating.
Kia said the petrol-electric powertrain has been specifically designed for the model. No information has been given on the size of the engine, or how much power it produces, but Kia said the unit is 'downsized'.
