Fleet managers overwhelmed by admin, Leaseplan claims

Admin overload is leaving fleet managers feeling overwhelmed and stressed, Leaseplan has claimed.
According to the leasing company, 80% of business decision makers and 90% of senior executives said they had to spend time outside of working hours to catch up on work, while 35% admitted they had to let their family down as a result of their workload.
Common topics taking up bosses' time include administrative tasks (59%), email communication (50%), vehicle management (32%) and taxing and insuring vehicles (32%).
"It's worrying what impact this admin overload can have," said Matt Dyer, managing director of Leaseplan. "Whilst we can't help with all the additional administrative tasks people need to do on a daily basis, we can help ease the burden slightly in terms of company vehicle administration."
