Hertz renames accident support service

Daily rental company Hertz has renamed its accident management provider CCL Accident Support, Hertz Accident Support.

Hertz said the name change is to clarify its ownership. CCL was acquired by the rental giant in 2013.

"The renaming of CCL to Hertz Accident Support marks the next exciting chapter in the company's growth and development," said David Rowlands, general manager at Hertz UK."Following a three-year investment plan by Hertz, the provider has secured a number of significant insurer accounts, more than doubled the size of its staff and increased its total of partnerships with body shops and dealerships."

"We intend to continue Hertz Accident Support's expansion through the delivery of innovative products and services coupled with the highest levels of customer service to insurers and end customers," he added.
