Infiniti confirms QX30 pricing

Date: 01 March 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Infiniti has confirmed its BMW X1-rivalling QX30 crossover will be priced from £29,490 when it goes on sale in the summer.

The entry-level QX30 is powered by a 170hp 2.2-litre diesel unit. Efficiency details have not yet been released for the QX30, but in the Q30 saloon, the model emits 127g/km of CO2 and returns 57.6mpg.

Expect those figures to be increased slightly in the QX30, thanks to the higher ride height and bulkier styling.

The firm also confirmed that two trim levels will be available: Premium and Premium Tech.

"2015 was a successful year for Infiniti, as we transformed our product line-up and established a sales record for the brand around the world," Roland Krueger, president of Infiniti said.

The Japanese company - Nissan's luxury arm - claimed its sales in Europe in 2015 were up by 45% compared to 2014's figures, however, the niche manufacturer fell outside of the top 30 fleet brands in the UK.
