Lex Autolease fleet grows due to increase in SME customers

Date: 25 February 2016   |   Author:

The UK's largest fleet management company, Lex Autolease has reported a jump in the size of its funded fleet to more than 317,000 vehicles - a year-on-year increase of 20,000 vehicles in 2015.

Total customer assets have also grown by 13% to £3.8bn. The leasing company says its growth has been supported by investment in new products and a focus on improving service flexibility for customers, while it has also expanded its commercial vehicle operations, which has been well received by large corporate customers.

Responding to the figures, Tim Porter Lex Autolease managing director, said: "Our focus continues to be on delivering market leading customer satisfaction for all our customers. We have set ourselves demanding growth targets over five years to 2017 and this year's results confirm we are well on our way to meet these. Continued support and innovation for SME customers is a key part of this and we will also be investing further in our digital capability in 2016."
